THE BRAINS BEHIND THE BOT: THANK YOU, MENTORS! 🧠🛠️
Behind every great robot is a team of dedicated mentors who refuse to say "it can’t be done." As we head to Albany this week, the BHS Robotics team wants to send a massive THANK YOU to the incredible mentors who have guided us through our rookie year.
From teaching us how to wire "Kit Cat" to helping us troubleshoot code when nothing we tried seemed to work out right! These volunteers give their time, talent, and patience to ensure we succeed. You aren't just teaching us how to build machines; you’re teaching us how to solve problems and lead.
We couldn’t do this without your expertise and your heart! 💜🤖

The Bainbridge BassCats fishing team had four teams travel to Lake Lanier to compete in a Georgia Bass Nation tournament over the weekend. All four of our BassCat teams brought fish back to the scales to weigh in. The ability of these student anglers to adapt to different weather and lakes all over Florida and Georgia continues to be very impressive.
The highest placing BassCat teams were Fisher Baty, fishing solo, with 5 fish weighing 10.37 lbs for 71st place. Gunner Love and Kale Lambert weighing in 5 bass for 14.69 lbs for 43rd place. Drake Walls and Walker Brogdon had the highest finish with 5 bass weighing 15.10 lbs for a 36th place finish. Congratulations to all of our BassCat teams on their impressive finishes out of over 160 other teams!
Thank you to the parents, boat captains, and sponsors that help our student anglers have these opportunities. We are proud of the amount of work and effort our BassCat anglers dedicate to the sport! #gobasscats #gobearcats
