To the special group of retired Bearcat teachers who reached out to lift us up: Thank you.
When we hit a wall, you were there. When we needed to be seen, you showed up. The outpouring of support, the constant words of encouragement, and the sheer energy you rallied around this team have been inspiring!
You’ve reminded us of a fundamental truth that you spent your careers proving: the power of a teacher who believes in you is beyond measure. Even in retirement, your dedication to lifting up the next generation hasn't skipped a beat.
When we take the field in Houston, we aren't just bringing our gear and our talent—we are taking you with us. Every cheer, every lesson, and every bit of heart you’ve poured into the students of Bainbridge will be right there on that turf.
We play for the ones who taught us how to win, how to lose with grace, and how to never stop showing up.
Houston, here we come—with the greatest teachers in our hearts!

What an exciting time to be a Bearcat!
This week, the Bainbridge High School Football Team took the field for their first practice under new Head Coach Jamey DuBose, and you could feel it from the very first whistle.. the field was buzzing, the hits were loud, and the intensity? 🔥 Off the charts!
From drills to full-contact reps, every snap carried purpose. Every player brought effort. Every coach demanded excellence. This wasn’t just practice… this was the beginning of something special.
The Bearcats showed up ready to work and Coach DuBose is already setting the tone for what this program is going to be about.

The Piece That Holds It All Together 🧩🚛
Meet Xander. Every successful robot needs a solid frame, and every successful team needs a Xander. On the [cy]BEARCATS we are lucky to have Xander in our crew.
From mastering the ratchet straps on the trailer for the road to GRITS, to preparing for our upcoming trip to Worlds, Xander is the definition of "ready for anything." He knows that excellence isn't just found in the code or the CAD—it’s found in the helping hands, the bottled water handed out during a long build, and the dedication to doing whatever it takes to keep the team moving forward.
Xander says, "Being a part of FIRST has given me a lot of unique experiences, and I've learned a lot of new things. This team has given me opportunities like no other, and I'm very happy to have been a part of the puzzle that is this team."
Xander has discovered that there are a thousand ways to support a dream, and he’s mastered finding the right support for each occasion. He isn't just a "part" of the puzzle; he’s the reason all the pieces fit together.
