The BassCats local tournament on February 14th was a great success. The student anglers blasted out of At Ease Marina on a chilly morning and as always, weighed in some nice limits of fish. These young anglers continue to improve and impress with their abilities to catch fish and bring them to the scales. We also had a "bonus" 29 pound catfish that showed up to the weigh-in! Thank you to the boat captains and team sponsors who make this opportunity possible for our young student anglers. The results for our Junior and Senior Divisions are below.

February 2–6, 2026
Bainbridge High School proudly celebrated National School Counselors Week by recognizing the outstanding work of our counseling team and their commitment to helping every Bearcat succeed. This year’s theme, “School Counselors Amplify Student Success,” was highlighted throughout the week during morning announcements, reminding our students and staff just how important our counselors are to the BHS family.
✨ Staff Appreciation Day (2/4):
BHS staff were invited to the Counseling Office to enjoy popcorn and Coke while learning more about the impact of school counseling. Informational counseling fact sheets, journals, and “I Love My School Counselor” stickers were available as a small token of appreciation.
✨ Student Appreciation Day (2/6):
Our counselors visited all four lunch periods to connect with students, encourage them, and remind them that support is always available at BHS. Students enjoyed popcorn, stickers, and Counseling Week–themed coloring sheets.
To show our appreciation, Principal Christopher Bryant treated our counselors to a special lunch as a thank-you for their dedication to our students and school community.
We are grateful for our Bainbridge High School counselors and the positive impact they make on our Bearcats every single day! 💜💛🐾
