Mrs. Hartzog's 2nd & 3rd Block Algebra classes put their systems of linear inequalities skills to work today! Students were given real-world situations and worked together to write and graph a system of linear inequalities, then identified and plotted two possible real-world solutions. A great way to connect algebra to real-life decision-making!

🎣 Bainbridge Bass Cats Meeting Reminder! 🎣

Anglers and parents, don’t forget about our Bass Cats follow-up meeting today, August 25, at 5:30 p.m. at Hutto Elementary School in the Media Center.

We’ll be collecting paperwork and payments for dues, jerseys, and sponsorships. Please use the last gate to enter and park near the Media Center.

Friday night, Head Baseball Coach Ryan Riles and the Bearcat Dugout Club recognized the Bainbridge 10U All-Stars for their BACK-TO-BACK State Championships! 🏆🏆⚾

Coach Riles presented each player with a commemorative baseball bat honoring this incredible accomplishment.

The future is bright for Bearcat Baseball as these young players continue to grow, develop, and one day become Bearcats!

The BHS and BMS Cross Country team kicked off their season at the Dueling Summit Invitational in Tallahassee!

Anniston Willis finished 1st overall in the girls varsity 5k.

Joseph Frank finished 19th overall in the boys varsity 5k.

Anabel Dempsey finished 6th overall in the Middle School girls 3k

Alanya McLendon finished 19th in the Middle School girls 3k.

Reed Zorn finished 14th in the Middle School boys 3k

As a team, the High School boys finished 5th out of 15 teams. The Middle school girls finished 7th out of 10 teams. The Middle School boys finished 10th out of 14 teams.

This was a great start to the season for the runners. They look forward to improving every week! Go Bearcats

To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans, please review our Parent/Adult Supervision Policy for upcoming athletic events:

Pre-K – 8th Grade Students: Must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18+) to enter events. Unaccompanied students will not be admitted.

Grades 9–12 Students: Permitted to attend all events under the supervision of school administrators and game managers.

Are you exploring your options for after high school? The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is coming up on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 8:00 AM.

Key Details:

What is it? A free career exploration tool that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success. Taking the test does NOT obligate you to join the military or talk to recruiters.

Who can take it? Open to students in grades 10–12 (Seniors get priority if seats fill up).

Requirements: Testing starts promptly at 8:00 AM (arrive by 7:45 AM). You must bring a fully charged Chromebook.

She loves the people of Decatur County and the welcoming environment they create. A fun fact about Ms.DuBose is that she was once bitten by a water moccasin and received antivenin treatment at the hospital! We're excited to have her on our team and look forward to the support and encouragement she'll provide to our students this school year!
