Mr. Pauncho Hufstetler from Bainbridge High School presented at the Georgia Council for the Social Studies Conference. He teaches A.P. U.S. History, U.S. History, and Humanities. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for GCSS.
He presented information related to the ways in which US History teachers use data to drive their PLCs (Professional Learning Communities). PLCs are used to inform US History teachers how well their students are doing on the US History standards and what adjustments are needed in the instruction that is being delivered.
Furthermore, the data collected through Pear Assessment is used to create individual reviews for students based on their performance on the US History standards throughout the semester.
