The Bainbridge High School Math Club hosted its annual Pi Day on 3/12 at the brand-new Performing Arts Center, welcoming schools from across the region, including Lee County, Thomas County, Thomasville City, Colquitt Co., Miller Co., and Spring Creek Charter Academy!

Guest speaker Georgia Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols delivered an inspiring talk on servant leadership, while students put their math skills to the test in a challenging competition.

While awaiting scores,

participants explored hands-on activities at the BHS Media Hub, featuring a "Pi & Seek" scavenger hunt hosted by Hope Toole & Sheila McClendon from ABAC, plus an exciting tech showcase by DCBOE's Director of Instructional Technology Amy Zock & her team!

After all the excitement, everyone enjoyed burgers, chips, and of course, “Pi” cake. Winners took home custom awards made from the old BHS stage, carrying a piece of Bainbridge High School history with them.

Huge thanks to Dr. Joseph Kelly for organizing and coordinating this incredible event!
