Library Media Center

Welcome Bearcats!

Welcome to the Bainbridge High School Media Center — your hub for curiosity, creativity, and connection. Led by Media Specialist Mrs. Melissa Brock and Media Assistant Mrs. Kay Hutto, our space blends a rich book collection with hands‑on media experiences to spark learning beyond the classroom. Explore diverse titles across fiction, nonfiction, and curriculum support; discover book recommendations from Ms. Brock to match every interest and reading level; and dive into immersive learning in our AR/VR zone.

Create and tinker in the MakerSpace, record stories or class projects in the Podcast Studio, and use flexible study resources and quiet zones designed for focused work or group collaboration. Whether you are working with a class, on a school or individual project, or just diving deeper to learn and create something you are passionate about, the Media Center at Bainbridge High School has something for you.

Our offerings are always expanding to reflect new technologies, student interests, and real‑world skills — all aimed at preparing Bainbridge High School students for the future. Your ideas for future offerings and resources are always welcome as we build the learning resources available in our media center.

Stop by, ask Ms. Brock for a recommendation, and see what you’ll make, read, and discover next.
